It is true that time flies fast when you’re having fun! We cannot believe that it is now mid 2023 and our birthday – July 14th - is coming up again! What a journey it has been in the past year, and it is so rewarding to celebrate another milestone with the team and with our customers from all over the world. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to accommodate so many travelers and work with new partners this past year.
Over the past year, our company has experienced significant growth with valuable additions to our Travel, Operations, and Marketing Teams. You may already know Linh – our talented bilingual Tour Leader who has successfully led numerous tours and excelled in trade fair endeavors. We have also strengthened our Operations Team with the expertise and diligent work of Suong and Trang, ensuring that every detail of our trips is meticulously taken care of. In addition, the innovative contributions of Chloe and Jamie from the Marketing Team have expanded our online presence, with a special focus on TikTok. And last but certainly not least, we are delighted to welcome back Zaneta, our Travel Specialist and Czech Market Specialist, after her maternity leave. With our team now more robust than ever, we are putting 100% into providing exceptional experiences to our valued customers.
With the return of in-person events to normalcy, our company has eagerly embraced the chance to participate in a range of local and international events. Notable highlights of our presence at renowned events include the Vietfood & Beverage trade fair, the Vietnam Expo, and the AllinToo Tourism Workshop, among others. Moreover, we are thrilled to share the news that our esteemed CEO & co-founder will continue serving as a board member of the Central & Eastern European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam in 2023. It has been a remarkable journey so far, and we believe that such active collaboration will pave the way for enhanced opportunities, mutual growth, and resounding success.
Reflecting on the past year, we are proud to acknowledge the remarkable milestones and unprecedented experiences that have shaped our journey. MakeYourAsia was trusted by over 1200 travelers to plan their trips and we organized more than 130 tours in 2022! Another of our most notable achievements has been establishing an exclusive partnership with Motopodróżni, kicking off our first two cross-country motorbike tours. This collaboration has opened new avenues for exploration and off-track adventures, with plans underway to develop more offerings in the future.
Additionally, last Christmas marked another special occasion as we celebrated MakeYourAsia’s milestone: our first-ever charity campaign – Shine A Light. As we strive to put corporate social responsibility at the heart of our business, this momentous event allowed us to raise funds and give back to the local community. Our initial collaboration with the SOS Children Village of Go Vap was only the beginning, and we look forward to working with many organizations to continue our initiative. As we grow and evolve, we want to stay close to our values and foster a powerful sense of social responsibility within our business framework.
