Bali Entry Requirements - Rice Terrace

Visa-Free Entry

Citizens of certain countries can enter Bali visa-free for short stays up to 30 days. Because the list changes periodically, always check the official Indonesia Immigration website for the most up-to-date eligibility.

Visa on Arrival (VOA)

Travelers from over 60 eligible countries can apply for a Visa On Arrival (VOA) at Ngurah Rai International Airport (Bali).

  • Valid for 30 days.
  • Can be extended once for an additional 30 days.
  • VOA can also be purchased online through the official e-VOA service for a faster arrival process.

E-Visa (B211A)

Travelers can apply for an electronic visa (B211A) online before their trip for a seamless experience. This visa is suitable for tourism, business, and social visits.
Apply via the official Indonesian Directorate General of Immigration portal.

Visit the official Indonesia e-Visa website for more details.

Bali Tourism Fee

As of 2026, travelers to Bali are required to pay a one-time Bali Tourism Fee that cost IDR 150,000 per person (approximately USD 10).

  • Payment can be made online before arrival or at designated counters at the airport.
  • Keep the payment receipt or QR code, as it may be requested during entry checks.

Immigration officers may also ask for:

  • Proof of confirmed accommodation.
  • A return or onward ticket showing departure from Indonesia.

Health & Arrival Protocols

Indonesia has replaced several older forms—including the SATUSEHAT Health Pass—with a single digital declaration called the All Indonesia Arrival Card.
This form combines:

  • Health declaration
  • Customs declaration
  • Immigration arrival information
  • Quarantine details

Most COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, but basic health monitoring may still take place at entry points, including temperature checks or visual screening by health officials.
