Current Entry Rules in Southeast Asia 2026

Travelers visiting the Philippines for tourism for up to 30 days may enter visa-free (depending on nationality).

Before departure, all travelers must register through the eTravel system or the eGovPH mobile app, where you submit personal details and passport information. Registration is free of charge.

Additional requirements:

• Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of departure from the Philippines
• At least two blank passport pages
• Proof of onward or return ticket

• Visa: Not required (up to 30 days, nationality-dependent)
• Form: Mandatory – eTravel registration
• Additional: Return or onward ticket required

Most travelers to Indonesia require a visa. This can be obtained online via the official e-Visa platform or as a Visa on Arrival at major international airports.

Within 72 hours before travel, visitors must complete the All Indonesia Arrival Card, which combines customs, health, and immigration declarations.

• Passport valid for at least 6 months
• Minimum two blank pages
• Proof of onward or return ticket

A tourist visa is required for most travelers visiting Cambodia. It can be obtained via the official e-Visa platform or as a Visa on Arrival.

In addition, travelers must complete the e-Arrival Card (migration, customs, and health declaration), ideally within 7 days before arrival. A QR code confirmation must be presented upon entry.

The e-Arrival system currently applies at:

• Siem Reap (SAI)
• Phnom Penh (PNH)
• Sihanoukville (KOS)

Paper forms may still be used at other border crossings.

Travelers to Laos are required to obtain a tourist visa, either through the official e-Visa system or as a Visa on Arrival at selected entry points.

Additionally, visitors must complete the Lao Digital Immigration Form (LDIF) no earlier than 3 days before arrival or departure.

The LDIF currently applies at:

• Wattay International Airport (Vientiane)
• Luang Prabang International Airport
• Pakse International Airport
• Thai–Lao Friendship Bridge (selected crossing)

• Form: Mandatory – LDIF

Travelers visiting Malaysia for tourism for up to 90 days may enter visa-free (nationality-dependent).
Within 3 days before arrival, all visitors must complete the Malaysian Digital Arrival Card (MDAC). The form is free of charge.

First-time visitors may be required to verify their passport at a manual immigration counter upon arrival.

Additional requirements:

• Passport valid for at least 6 months
• Minimum two blank pages

• Visa: Not required (up to 90 days, nationality-dependent)
• Form: Mandatory – MDAC
• Note: First-time visitors may require manual passport verification

Tourist stays in Singapore of up to 90 days are generally visa-free (depending on nationality).

Although no visa is required for eligible travelers, all visitors must complete the SG Arrival Card online prior to entry.

Additional requirements:

• Visa: Not required (up to 90 days, nationality-dependent)
• Form: Mandatory – SG Arrival Card

Tourists may enter Thailand visa-free for up to 30 days (nationality-dependent).

Upon entry, immigration officers may request:
