MakeYourAsia 2025: A Year That Felt Like Many Journeys at Once

2025 was a year shaped by journeys — across borders, cultures, and ideas. For MakeYourAsia, it marked a period of steady growth and meaningful transformation. We invite you to read on and revisit the moments that defined our year.
A Year That Didn’t Feel Like Just One
When we look back at 2025, it doesn’t feel like a single, neatly defined year. It feels more like a series of moments — conversations on the road, early airport mornings, late nights finalising programs, and quiet confirmations that we’re moving in the right direction.
Over the course of the year, MakeYourAsia designed and operated more than 300 tours across Southeast Asia, welcoming over 2,100 travellers. Guests joined us from across Europe and beyond — including Poland, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Italy, the Czech Republic, the United States, and Mexico.
The numbers matter. But what stays with us most are the people behind them — travellers who trusted us with their time, their curiosity, and often with journeys they had been considering for years.

When Different Rhythms Meet the Same Place
Our guests arrived with different expectations, travel habits, and ideas of what Southeast Asia might feel like. Some were first-time visitors; others were returning with deeper questions.
Watching those different rhythms slowly align with the places they visited remains one of the most rewarding parts of our work. It’s often not a landmark or a highlight that changes something — but a conversation, a shared meal, or a moment when the unfamiliar starts to feel natural.

The Work You Don’t See — But Always Feel
Behind every journey was a team working quietly in the background. In 2025, our team continued to grow — not just in size, but in experience and confidence.
From the first idea sketched into an itinerary, through pricing, bookings, and adjustments, to on-the-ground coordination during the tour itself, this behind-the-scenes work is what allows our guests to experience Southeast Asia without friction — often without ever noticing how much coordination it takes.
Our tour leaders remain at the heart of those experiences. They are the people guests remember by name long after the trip ends. Their ability to translate places, customs, and everyday life into something understandable — and relatable — is what turns a well-planned itinerary into a meaningful journey.

A Clearer Brand, Not Just a New Look
2025 was also a year of internal change. We introduced a refreshed brand identity — not as a cosmetic update, but as a way to reflect better who we are today.
By clearly focusing our communication on Leisure and Incentive Travel, we aligned our outward image with how we already work: locally grounded, flexible, and deeply involved in every journey we design. It was less about changing direction, and more about naming it clearly.

Travel With a Broader Responsibility
Social responsibility remained an important part of our thinking throughout the year. Through our ongoing cooperation with Vulcan Augmetics and the Step Up and Give A Hand initiative, we were able to support several beneficiaries in 2025 — thanks to the involvement of our partners, clients, and teams.
These projects remind us that travel can do more than move people across borders. It can also create tangible, lasting impact when approached with care and intention.

Listening as Much as Designing
Throughout the year, we spent time listening — at industry meetings, trade fairs, and smaller, more personal conversations. Whether in Southeast Asia or Europe, these exchanges helped us better understand how the region is perceived today, and how the role of a destination management company continues to evolve.
They also reinforced something we already believed: thoughtful travel design matters more than ever.
What 2025 Ultimately Gave Us
What ultimately defines 2025 for us isn’t growth alone. It’s clarity.
- A clearer sense of direction.
- Stronger partnerships.
- And greater confidence in the kind of travel we want to create.
As we move toward 2026 — a special year as MakeYourAsia approaches its 10th anniversary — we carry those lessons forward. New programs are already taking shape, guided more by experience than trends. And while we’re keeping some ideas for the right moment, one thing remains unchanged: our commitment to thoughtful, well-designed journeys that respect both the traveller and the destination.
Thank you to everyone who was part of this year — on the road, behind the scenes, and along the way.
We look forward to continuing the journey together.
