Overview of MakeYourAsia in 2024: A Year of Growth and CSR Efforts

We have expanded our reach and strengthened MakeYourAsia’s presence in the tourism industry, offering over 260 diverse tours that have served over 1,700 guests. We’ve seen a particular growth among our Polish market, with travelers from Poland entering the top 30 of international visitors to Vietnam by number. In just 7 months, 28,000 Polish guests visited Vietnam.

Our long tours continue to be a major attraction, with the comprehensive 14-day Highlights of Vietnam tour remaining one of the most popular choices. This immersive journey takes travelers to the most iconic Vietnamese destinations - from the bustling streets of Hanoi, through the serene beauty of Ha Long Bay, and the historical wonders of Hue and Hoi An. Additionally, our combined South Vietnam and Cambodia tour is a favorite for those looking to explore both countries' rich cultural landscapes and natural beauty.

Another highlight this year has been our Philippines adventure. Guests have been captivated by the stunning beaches, rich history, and unique cultural experiences the country offers.

On the other hand, our short tours continue to draw large crowds, particularly our Saigon by Night experience. This tour whisks guests on motorbikes through hidden alleys, revealing the vibrant heart of Ho Chi Minh City after dark. The adventure includes savoring delicious street food that locals adore, giving tourists a real taste of Vietnam’s culinary delights. Day tours around Manila, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore have also been popular among travelers seeking a quick glimpse of a new country.

A major part of MakeYourAsia’s success in 2024 has been our commitment to CSR. We continued our partnership with Vulcan Augmetics – an innovative company providing robotic prosthetics solutions with affordable pricing. Two of our incentive tour groups decided to sponsor robotic prosthetics for workplace accident victims this year, bringing immense positive change to the lives of the individuals who have faced severe everyday challenges. Our first collaboration took place with the Tide Software incentive group, and the second with Emoveo Group.

Another significant CSR initiative was our partnership with the "Your Heart for Filipino Children" project. This Polish foundation has been dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged children in the Philippines. With fundraising campaigns and school facility enhancement projects, the foundation has impacted countless children’s lives in Manila and beyond. This year, our collaboration aimed to support 30 families living at a cemetery in Manila and fund the construction of a safe playground at the San Miguel Elementary School in Baras, Catanduanes. This initiative has helped ensure that children have a safe place to play and learn.

In line with our sustainability efforts, MakeYourAsia has made strides in reducing our environmental footprint by incorporating reusable items, eco-friendly gadgets, and sustainable packaging into our tours. Additionally, we’ve expanded our cooperation with partners in the Mekong Delta region, in order to promote sustainable practices like using paper, bamboo, and rice packaging. Through these collaborations, we’re helping local companies reduce waste and expand their reach for environmentally conscious travelers, at the same time reducing the pollution in the visited localities.

Our CEO, Lukasz Kozlowski, actively represented MakeYourAsia at several major events centered on CSR and sustainability throughout the year. At GEFE 2024 (Green Economy Forum & Exhibition), he shared key insights into sustainable tourism practices. Lukasz also joined the Central and Eastern European Chamber of Commerce’s (CEEC) panel themed "Waste Not, Win Big: Eco-Leadership in Practice," where he highlighted MakeYourAsia’s commitment to leading the way in eco-friendly tourism.

MakeYourAsia gained recognition across various media platforms in 2024. Our CEO’s speech on sustainable tourism at GEFE 2024 was highlighted in Forbes Vietnam issue 134, as well as in two prominent Vietnamese news outlets - VnExpress and VnEconomy.

Moreover, Lukasz contributed his expertise as a CEEC member to the “Doing Business in Vietnam” guide. This publication serves as an essential resource for companies looking to invest in Vietnam, and Lukasz’s insights on tourism and hospitality sector were well-received.

In the past year, MakeYourAsia experienced meaningful growth and progress, marked by memorable tours, strengthened partnerships, and a deeper commitment to sustainability and social impact. As we head into 2025, we remain dedicated to offering personalized experiences for travelers, creating positive change in the communities we visit, and ensuring a sustainable future for tourism in Southeast Asia.
