After arriving in Hanoi, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in the heart of the Old Quarter. From your very first day, you will begin discovering the culture, traditions, and everyday rhythm of northern Vietnam.

In the evening, take a walk through the lively streets of the Old Quarter, where local life unfolds among markets, cafés, and street food stalls. The day ends with a dinner featuring regional specialties, followed by a stop at the city's famous "International Corner," where a cold drink and the lively atmosphere of Hanoi after dark offer the perfect introduction to the journey ahead.

Begin the day by exploring Hanoi’s Old Quarter from the seat of a traditional cyclo, offering a different perspective on the city’s lively streets. Along the way, visit Hoa Lo Prison and the Temple of Literature, where peaceful courtyards, bonsai gardens, and ancient stone turtles reflect Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage.

For lunch, enjoy bun cha, Hanoi’s signature dish, at one of our favorite local restaurants. Later, discover the Ngoc Son Temple and the legend of the Great Golden Turtle before taking a break with Vietnam’s famous egg coffee overlooking Hoan Kiem Lake.

After some time to relax at the hotel, the evening continues with dinner at a family-run restaurant, where you will experience the authentic flavors of northern Vietnamese cuisine.

Leave Hanoi behind and travel to the legendary Ha Long Bay, where thousands of limestone islands rise from the emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin. After boarding your cruise, settle into your cabin and spend the next two days exploring one of Vietnam’s most iconic landscapes.

Enjoy freshly prepared regional cuisine, paddle through hidden lagoons by kayak, swim in the calm waters of the bay, or simply relax on deck as the scenery drifts by. Early risers can also join a morning Tai Chi session while watching the bay slowly come to life.

After breakfast on the final morning, the cruise returns to the harbor. From there, transfer directly to Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport for your flight to Laos, where the next chapter of your journey begins.

After arriving in Luang Prabang and checking into your hotel, set out to explore the charming streets of the Old Town, where colonial architecture, Buddhist temples, and riverside cafés create a relaxed atmosphere. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace, whether wandering through local markets, stopping for a coffee, or simply soaking up the town’s unique character.

Begin the day at the former Royal Palace, now home to the Royal Palace Museum, where you will gain an insight into Laos’ royal heritage and the country’s recent history.

Later, cruise along the Mekong River to the sacred Pak Ou Caves, filled with hundreds of Buddha statues collected over centuries. On the way, stop in Ban Xanghai, a riverside village known for its traditional rice whisky production.

Back in Luang Prabang, explore the elegant temples of Wat Sene and Wat Xieng Thong before visiting the beautifully restored Heuan Chan Heritage House, where you can relax with a cup of locally grown Lao coffee or tea.

As the day draws to a close, visit Wat Prabath before wandering through Luang Prabang’s vibrant Night Market, where local artisans showcase handmade crafts and regional specialties.

Rise before dawn to witness Luang Prabang’s centuries-old alms-giving ceremony, as Buddhist monks walk silently through the streets collecting offerings from local residents. After breakfast, climb Mount Phousi for sweeping views over the town, the Mekong River, and the surrounding mountains.

Continue to the turquoise pools of Kuang Si Waterfalls, where forest trails lead to peaceful cascades hidden among the trees. On the way back, stop at a local workshop to discover the traditional art of hand-made batik, still practiced by local artisans.

End the day with a sunset cruise on the Mekong, watching Luang Prabang slowly settle into the evening.

After arriving in Siem Reap and completing the visa formalities, transfer to your hotel and take some time to settle in. In the evening, enjoy dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants, where you will be introduced to the distinctive flavors of traditional Khmer cuisine.

Set out before sunrise to explore the legendary temples of Angkor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Southeast Asia’s greatest archaeological treasures. Throughout the day, discover the serene faces of Bayon Temple, the jungle-covered ruins of Ta Prohm, and the historic Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King.

Take a break to enjoy the rich flavors of traditional Khmer cuisine before visiting the iconic Angkor Wat, where intricate carvings and grand architecture reflect the legacy of the ancient Khmer Empire.

Spend the morning discovering everyday life around Siem Reap. Visit a local Buddhist temple before continuing to a lotus farm, where you will learn how this iconic flower is transformed into textiles, tea, and other traditional products.

Later, cruise across Tonle Sap Lake by motorboat and traditional rowing boat, passing floating villages and flooded forests where communities have adapted to life on the water for generations.

After lunch, transfer to Siem Reap Airport for your flight to Phnom Penh. Once you have checked in to your hotel, end the day with a relaxing river cruise followed by dinner at a carefully selected local restaurant.

After breakfast, begin exploring Phnom Penh with a visit to the Royal Palace, the official residence of Cambodia’s royal family. Within the palace grounds, discover the Silver Pagoda, renowned for its silver-tiled floor and remarkable collection of Buddha statues, including an extraordinary figure adorned with thousands of diamonds.

Lunch will be served at a social enterprise restaurant, where every meal supports educational programs and opportunities for disadvantaged children in the Cambodian capital.

In the afternoon, visit the Killing Fields to gain a deeper understanding of Cambodia’s recent history and the devastating legacy of the Khmer Rouge. Return to your hotel in Phnom Penh for the night before continuing your journey to Vietnam the following day.

After breakfast in Phnom Penh, continue your journey by boat along the Mekong River towards Chau Doc, a riverside town near the Cambodian-Vietnamese border. This scenic route offers a glimpse into the daily life of communities that have depended on the river for generations.

Upon arrival in Vietnam, transfer to a hillside resort overlooking the borderlands between Cambodia and Vietnam, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Mekong region.

Start the day with a visit to Tra Su Nature Reserve, a peaceful wetland area known for its rich birdlife and flooded forests. Explore the reserve by traditional rowing boat, gliding through narrow waterways surrounded by lush greenery.

Continue along the Mekong River towards Can Tho, the heart of the delta, where a delicious dinner awaits you in the evening.

Rise early to visit Cai Rang Floating Market, where breakfast is served on the boat as local traders navigate the bustling waterways of the Mekong Delta.

Continue to Ben Tre, a region of lush canals and coconut groves, where you will discover the traditions and flavors of delta life. Cruise by sampan beneath swaying palms, visit a local coconut candy workshop, and walk through tropical orchards filled with exotic fruits.

After exploring the countryside, continue to Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon, where the final chapters of your Vietnam journey await.

Start the day at 8:00 with a discovery of Ho Chi Minh City’s diverse neighborhoods. Begin in Chinatown, where you will see the mysterious Thuan Kieu Plaza, taste the famous “sock coffee,” and explore local streets leading to Quan Am Temple, the herbal street, and Cha Tam Church with its distinctive yellow façade and fascinating connection to Vietnam’s history.

Continue to the War Remnants Museum, where photographs, documentaries, and historical exhibits offer a deeper understanding of the conflicts that shaped Indochina.

Later, discover the city’s colonial heritage with a visit to the Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the exterior of the Independence Palace. After some time to relax at the hotel, experience Saigon after dark during an evening scooter tour through its lively streets.

Today, travel to Cu Chi, just outside Ho Chi Minh City, for a hands-on introduction to Vietnamese cuisine with our local cooking master. Learn how to recognize fresh herbs, understand their role in traditional dishes, and prepare authentic flavors yourself. After the cooking experience, continue to the Cu Chi Tunnels, where you will discover the history of the underground network used during the Vietnam War and gain a deeper understanding of the events that shaped the country’s modern history.

The evening is yours to enjoy at your own pace in Ho Chi Minh City.
