Your day begins at the former Royal Palace, where personal objects, ceremonial halls, and historical collections tell the story of Laos’ monarchy and its changing place in the country’s history.
From here, you will step into the old quarter of Luang Prabang, walking among temples and quiet monastery grounds. Visiting places like Wat Xieng Thong and Wat Sene, you will see how deeply spiritual life remains woven into the city’s everyday rhythm.
TRADITIONAL CRAFTS BY THE RIVER
Beyond the center, the road leads to small artisan villages where traditions are still passed from one generation to the next. In Ban Xangkhong and Ban Xienglek, you will watch local families weaving textiles and producing handmade Saa paper using methods that have changed little over time.
