MORNING: HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN WALKING TOUR
Your day begins at 8:00 AM with a visit to the enchanting Hoi An Old Town. We will embark on Hoi An walking tour through its narrow streets, rich with history and lined with traditional Vietnamese architecture. You’ll get to see iconic landmarks such as the Japanese Pagoda Bridge, which doubles as a pagoda, and capture memorable photos with the Old Town as your backdrop. As you explore, you can indulge in a traditional Vietnamese iced coffee, Ca Phe Sua, on a charming old townhouse terrace.
MIDDAY: IN THE SHADE OF CHAMPA TEMPLES
The main attraction of our tour is the My Son complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring dozens of distinctively shaped temples dedicated to Hindu deities such as Krishna, Vishnu, and Shiva. The ruins of these ancient, monumental temples, constructed from brick and stone, are now enveloped in lush vegetation, creating an otherworldly atmosphere. As you wander through the towers, you'll come across Linga and Yoni statues, the symbolism of which will be revealed during your visit. Prepare to be captivated by the rich history and mystical aura of this exceptional site.
AFTERNOON: WORLD WAR II VETERAN HOME VISIT
On our return journey to Hoi An, we will have the opportunity to visit a local war veteran from the Second Indochina War. This unique experience will allow us to gain insights into their life and personal experiences. Additionally, we will be welcomed into a traditional Vietnamese home where we will enjoy a homemade meal with the family, immersing ourselves in the local culture and customs.
LATE AFTERNOON: RETURN TO YOUR HOTEL
After lunch, we’ll make our way back to our charming hotel in Hoi An, where you can unwind and soak in the town's serene atmosphere before your next adventure.
