    Itinerary

    Day 1: Landing in Saigon

    Welcome to Saigon! We will pick you up straight from the airport and take you to the hotel, giving you some spare time to rest and refresh yourself.

    At 06:00pm, we will take you on a lively motorbike Saigon By Night trip. During this tour, you will be the passenger sitting comfortably behind an experienced driver to enjoy the vibrant and scenic view of Saigon. Get ready to blend into the chaotic yet exciting vortex of Saigon's traffic. You will try some southern Vietnam's delicacies and discover how the locals spend their evening in the most bustling city of Vietnam. This is the perfect way to start your adventure: deep in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.

    Day 2: A vivid day trip through Saigon

    We will go to the city by rickshaws to see the colonial center featuring the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Independence Palace, and Saigon Post Office. From here, we will take a bus to the beautiful Chinatown. Discover the colorful neighborhood and stop by hidden gems such as Cha Tam Church, Binh Tay Market, and the Buddhist Temple of Quan Am.

    Leaving the bustling area, we now embark on a journey to the War Remnants Museum. Gain a more profound appreciation for Vietnam's resilience as well as learn insights into the First and Second Indochina Wars.

    Fall in love with Saigon's magical nightlife with a sightseeing ride on a double-decker bus. End the night with a hearty dinner with some grilled meat and hotpot.

    Day 3: Cruise along the Mekong Delta

    The next day, after breakfast, we will embark on an hour-and-a-half drive to the city of Ben Tre of Mekong Delta.

    Cruise along the Mekong River and observe local life on the waterways of Delta. We will also visit a family-run coconut candy factory owned by our good friend. Then, stroll along the local village to admire the local orchards and peek through the people's way of life.

    Indulge in a nutritious lunch with the local freshest catch at our favorite riverside restaurant. Next, we'll sail through the tiny canals of the coconut water forest to soak in the region's distinct natural beauty.

    After our Ben Tre adventure, let's make our way to Can Tho - the biggest city in Mekong Delta. Have dinner at our homestay and stay overnight in Can Tho.

    Day 4: Cai Rang Floating Market

    At 06:00AM, we embark on a boat ride to famous Cai Rang floating market. Here, learn how merchants trade and live on the waterways of Mekong. You will have the chance to enjoy your breakfast and morning coffee fresh off the boat. This is also the perfect place for you to try the freshes tropical fruits of the Delta.

    After our floating market excursion, we will head back to our homestay for a second breakfast. Around 10:00AM, we will check out and head to Tra Su Cajuput Forest of An Giang province. We will have lunch on the way.

    Once we reach our destination, we will check in at Nui Sam Lodge and spend the night here.

    Day 5: Tra Su Mangrove Forest

    After a tasty country breakfast, you will have some free time to walk and ride a bicycle around the area or relax in hammocks, when we will take a tuk-tuk to the main road and board a bus that will take us to the Tra Su mangrove forest.

    At Tra Su mangrove forest, get ready to witness the breathtaking beauty of the unique swamp ecosystem. The tranquil oasis features the flooded cajuput forest, creating a favorable environment for endless types of fauna and flora. If you're a bird lover, it's your lucky day! The area is home of a large variety of birds and other wildlife.

    We will end the day with a drive to Chau Doc, where we will relax for the rest of the day.

    Day 6: The essence of Phnom Penh

    In the morning, we will cruise upstream the Mekong River, crossing the border with Cambodia, and heading to Phnom Penh. After around 5.5 hours of commute, we will reach the capital of Cambodia and have lunch.

    Next stop: the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda. Delve into the heart of Phnom Penh’s royal legacy and get to know the city’s rich history and the grandeur of the Cambodian monarchy. After some exploration, we will head back to the hotel for a short rest.

    For our evening adventure, let’s ride the tuktuk and go on a streetfood tour. Discover the capital’s nightlife and eat your way through some of our favorite street food eateries.

    Day 7: From Phnom Penh to Siem Reap wonders

    This morning, we will visit the S21 Prison Museum, where you will take a moment to learn about the Khmer Rouge regime that reigned Cambodia during 1975-1978. Continue our historical journey to the Killing Fields – a monument to all the victims of the regime and to those who survived.

    After lunch, we will fly to Siem Reap to explore more of Cambodia.

    Let’s take on the riverscape as we visit the biggest lake of Southeast Asia – Tonle Sap Lake. Prepare to be captivated by the fascinating floating villages and their community. After the river excursion, it’s time for dinner! This is no ordinary meal as you will enjoy your meal while enjoying a mesmerizing Apsara dance performance.

    Day 8: Angkor complex exploration

    We will dedicate our entire day to explore the Angkor Complex – one of the world’s most outstanding architectural masterpieces. Spend your time admiring the world-famous Angkor Wat, the astounding temples of Bayon, Ta Prohm, Terrace of the Elephants, and Royal Gardens. We will ensure you see the beauty and glory of this fascinating complex.

    During our stay in Siem Reap, we cannot miss visiting the Old Market. Take your time wandering around the area and get some Cambodia souvenirs. After a long day of exploring, get some rest and have a dinner at a restaurant. Indulge in some Khmer specialties dishes to end our day.

    Day 9: Leisure by the sea

    At the end of this South Vietnam and Cambodia adventure, you can opt for a relaxing beach stay at one of Southeast Asia’s best beach spots.
