Best of Saigon: A Two-day Adventure

As your tour guide, we will take you on a multi-hour rickshaw ride through the vibrant streets of Saigon. Our first stop is the iconic Main Post Office, situated next to the majestic Notre Dame Cathedral. Here, we'll take the time to discuss Saigon's colonial history and then take a leisurely stroll to a nearby park. Enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the city as we explore this fascinating city.

Today, our next stop is the War Remnants Museum. Here, our knowledgeable experts will give you a comprehensive look into the history of the Vietnam-American War and the evacuation of Saigon. We'll then enjoy a delicious lunch at a popular local restaurant, frequented by many Vietnamese office workers. Make sure to come hungry!

Next, our tour will take you to the bustling Nguyen Hue Street, home of the iconic statue of Ho Chi Minh, and the renowned Ben Thanh Market. Our experienced guide will share their tips and tricks on how to get the best deals and prices inside the market. Get ready to be amazed by the diversity of products that can be found all under one roof!

Our night escapade will start around 18:00. Get ready for a trip through several districts of the city, full of colors, lights, and smells, getting to know corners that uninitiated tourists have no chance to reach.

We know all of these places personally because we have lived here for years. To refresh yourself, you will try local delicacies, such as the world-famous Pho soup or fresh fruit mix, drink traditional Vietnamese coffee, and learn a bit about everyday life in Vietnam from our drivers. On the route, you will also see the most beautiful evening panorama of downtown Saigon.

At 08:00AM, we will leave Saigon for Mekong Delta. After a scenic two-hour drive, we arrive in the charming province of Ben Tre - one of the most picturesque destinations in the region.

From the moment we arrive, the landscape surrounding us looks strikingly different from other places in Vietnam. Get ready to be enchanted by the beauty of the Mekong Delta!

You'll cruise along tranquil canals and rivers lined with low-hanging palm trees. Learn about the fascinating floating fish farm on the Mekong River.

Catch a glimpse of the locals' way of life and learn about the versatile coconut, from its culinary uses to household applications. We will visit a local coconut candy factory, witnessing the production process and sampling the sweet creations.

Explore the endless tiny canals on sampans- the traditional rowing boats that has been used to navigate the area's waterways. As you glide through the waters, admire the lush green scenery and take in the peaceful atmosphere.

Later, it's time for lunch at a restaurant serving traditional Mekong Delta cuisine. You will try the famous deep fried "elephant ear fish" and fresh water shrimps. And after a fulfilling meal, you can try the infamous durian if you're brave enough. Then, we will set sail back to the pier, return to the shore, and depart back to Saigon.
