MEET THE CHEF
First thing in the morning, we’re meeting up with our Vietnam chef, our guide for this exciting journey into Vietnamese cooking. Our first stop is a busy traditional local market where you’ll master how to select the freshest ingredients. This is nothing like you going to your ordinary grocery stores. Navigate through the colorful stalls, interact with the local sellers, and learn about all the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later on. This experience will deepen your appreciation for the origins of the flavors and aromas that make Vietnamese cuisine so special.
COOK IN THE MOST PEACEFUL SETTING
Upon arrival, we will visit the school’s herb garden to discover the wide array of locals’ crops and popular green ingredients used in Vietnam cuisine. Then, we will learn about some of Hoi An’s iconic dishes and watch the chefs’ artistry through captivating demonstrations.
Now are you ready? Let’s put your newfound knowledge to the test as you try crafting these mouthwatering delights. Using the freshest ingredients and traditional local utensils, we will get into the art of fruit and vegetables carving as well as plate decoration. During this two-hour class, we will create 4 popular dishes and sit together afterwards to enjoy our successful endeavors. Nothing is more rewarding than to have our handmade food tastings, right?

After we have filled up our bellies, we will end the culinary adventure here and return to the hotel.
