    Itinerary

    Day 1: THE ADVENTURE BEGINS

    Prepare to be swept away by the beauty of Ha Giang! Our guide will pick you up around 20:00 in the evening from your hotel in Hanoi and take you to the sleeper bus departure point. We will arrive in Ha Giang around 04:00AM in the morning where we’ll rest until 08:00AM.

    Day 2: VISIT TO THE MOUNTAIN VILLAGES

    Our adventure begins with a visit to the ancient town of Dong Van, where you’ll be mesmerized by the stunning rock formations and fall in love with the unique culture of the ethnic villages. But that’s just the start of our journey!

    Next, we’ll make our way to the House of Pao – known from a famous Vietnamese film. In addition, we’ll learn about centuries of fascinating history at the Palace of King H’mong. And our adventure doesn’t end here! Let the spirit of adventure guide you through hidden wonders as we travel to the northernmost point of Vietnam – the Lung Cu flagpole. The ride to the flag tower alone is remarkable with the amazing views of majestic mountains and local minority villages. And once you reach the top, the majestic panorama of the Vietnamese-Chinese border as well as the masterpiece of the Dong Van karst plateau will leave you speechless.

    After the excursion, we’ll indulge in the exceptional flavors of Vietnam’s Northern mountain cuisine at a local eatery. Finally, we’ll relax over dinner and rest up in Dong Van.

    Day 3: MEO VAC TREKKING

    Buckle up for an adventure-filled day after a satisfying breakfast and a morning stroll around town. Today we’ll go on an unforgettable ride on the Road of Happiness, a road built by 16 different local ethnic group over six years. Discover the meaning behind its name and have your breath taken away by the stunning hills, deep valleys, and the legendary Nho Que River. On the journey, we’ll also drive through the Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the Four Great Passes of Vietnam, to witness the most spectacular mountain view of the region.

    Prepare to be amazed as we’re exploring Ha Giang off-the-beaten path with a visit to Meo Vac County – a hidden treasure near the Chinese border. This is one of the few places throughout the country keeps the true atmosphere and traditions of the Northern highland region. Brace yourself for a delightful three-hour trek through the H’Mong homesteads. Embrace this opportunity to wander through the magical landscapes awaiting at every turn as you travese local farms and meander along the slopes of majestic karst cliffs.

    But there’s more to enjoy for today! We’ll take to the water with a boat ride along the famous shimmering green Nho Que River. Capture picture-perfect moments all while basking in the tranquility of cruising through a surreal 800-meter deep canyon.

    After a day filled with adventures, we will finally spend the night at a charming mountain mini-resort to have dinner and settle in for a restful sleep.

    Day 4: MESMERIZING MOUNTAIN VIEWS

    After a hearty breakfast, you’ll have the freedom to relax at the resort and simply admire the captivating vista of the area. For adventurous souls seeking another activity, we can offer you a short trekking trip to the nearby viewpoint (if the weather permits of course). There are 2 directions available and this should take approximately around 2 hours.

    Around noon, we’ll embark on our return to Ha Giang, where a delectable lunch awaits. From here, we will bid farewell to this enchanting region and make our way back to the vibrant Hanoi.
